quitting smoking is not easy and may take several attempts. By
developing a support network you can prepare yourself for the
urges you will encounter. There are several types of quit
smoking support groups available. Not anyone is better than the
next and it can be beneficial to incorporate more than one into
your quit smoking plan.
If you know
someone else that wants to quit smoking try quitting together.
Support one another along the way. Quit smoking hotlines can
come in handy when you have sudden urges to smoke and you need
someone to help you through the craving. Quit smoking forums
and discussion groups can also be beneficial. Read what others
had to say and add posts. Joining a support group can give you
a safe environment to go and discuss some of the issues you are
having.
