to ask people that quit smoking if it was hard for them, most
would tell you “yes.” They might go as far as telling you how
they felt they lost a good friend and that they miss smoking
sometimes. Being stuck in that kind of limbo can be frustrating
and not to mention a dangerous place to be. There may be
aspects of quitting smoking that do make quitting hard but once
you are able to understand the psychological effects of smoking
it can be easier to quit than you think.

smoking is hard for people who believe that smoking helps them
in some way. The more you believe that smoking adds to the
quality of you life the harder it will be to quit. In order to
really quit smoking and stay quit you need to change the way you
think about smoking. You do this by confronting the
psychological effects of smoking and the influence it has on
your life. Many smokers smoke because they believe it:

life the harder it will be to quit smoking. The key to quitting
smoking is to really want to quit smoking. The key to wanting
to quit smoking directly deals with the psychological effects of
smoking and how you change your beliefs about the effects
smoking has on your mind and body. Once you are able to expose
the lies that smoking has any benefit at all the easier it will
be to quit and be confident in your decision to do so.
